Wreath Sales -Easy & Contactless Way to Make Sales

Posted by leskew on Oct 25 2020 - 11:37pm

C'mon Scouts - Let's Raise Some Money for You and the Troop! Wreath Sales are due THIS WEEK. 1. There is a simple and fast way to make some sales: Get 10 (or more!) email addresses of neighbors, relatives, and friends; Write a simple email mentioning what scouting means to you and how purchasing a wreath, spray, or small tree helps your troop and your ability to attend camps and high adventures. This transaction is completely contact free - they order online and items are shipped directing to them. MAKE SURE TO include GiftItForward.com website AND our Troop's code -TR129VA001, your name, and include your parent as a cc on the email, this helps us comply with BSA safety requirements. This approach has gotten great results. Remember, unlike years before, you can reach out to family and friends outside the area - this is a game changer - expand your reach.

Timmy B's Eagle Scout Project

Posted by zringel on Oct 15 2020 - 6:01pm

For this project we will remove hazardous benches that are currently in the area as well as create a new outdoor space for the school and community. Any scouts and adults who are available are welcome to come. In addition, we are looking for wheelbarrows, shovels, posthole diggers, and other work tools to help out with the spreading of mulch and removal of old benches. Due to covid precautions, the project is being spread across three phases. Please indicate which phase you can participate in so that I can manage numbers appropriately. Younger scouts are encouraged to participate in Phase 3.

Wreath Sale Fundraiser ON NOW!

Posted by zringel on Oct 12 2020 - 7:04pm

Wreath Sales have begun!  Deadline for orders is Tuesday, October 27. This is a great way to help pay for summer camp and high adventure outings, and also support the Troop. In light of our current reality, we will not be meeting at Westminster Church to collect orders for delivery. This is a big change. We have two contact-less programs, both of which ship purchases directly to recipients. Online ordering is available – family or friends from out of town can support your sales efforts.  Click "read more" for instructions, brochures and contact information.
